Great to meet you!

Welcome to Advanced Psychiatric Solution, a premier mental health practice specializing in comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and evidence-based medication management for adults, teens, and children. My path into healthcare began over 20 years ago, a journey built on the belief that true healing happens best when you feel genuinely heard and your mind and body are treated as one, rather than a collection of isolated symptoms. I hold dual board certifications, having graduated from the University of Pittsburgh as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Herzing University as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Additionally, my background includes years of specialized clinical training as an Oncology Nurse Practitioner. This medical expertise gives me a profound, holistic understanding of how chronic illnesses, cancer treatments, and physical diagnoses intersect with psychiatric symptoms. Whether navigating the emotional trauma, anxiety, and depression that accompanies an oncology journey, or addressing everyday mental health hurdles, I bring clinical authority and deep empathy to safely to your care.

Our practice specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions across the lifespan with children, teenagers, adults. seniors and pregnant females, including ADHD, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, depression, mood disorders, bipolar stabilization, trauma, and PTSD. We offer traditional face to face appointments at office located at 304 5th St, Trafford, PA 15085, as well as telehealth sessions for clients living anywhere throughout the state of Pennsylvania. We proudly serve families and individuals commuting from Westmoreland County, Allegheny County, Armstrong County, and Fayette County. Advanced Psychiatric Solution is currently accepting new adult and child patients, and we are proudly in-network with major insurance plans. My approach to therapy

At Advanced Psychiatric Solution in Trafford, PA, I do things differently. I don't believe in the rushed, cold approach of standard medicine. Instead, I treat you as a whole person, looking at both your body and mind to help you truly heal. As a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), my background bridges the gap between primary medical care and mental health. I don't just look at psychiatric symptoms in a vacuum—I evaluate how your physical health, medical history, and daily life connect. Furthermore, my deep experience working with oncological history and cancer care means I understand firsthand how heavy medical diagnoses, chronic illness, and physical trauma impact your emotional well-being.

Life doesn't stop at 5:00 PM, and health crises never give a warning. That is why my practice places a heavy emphasis on fast, accessible care. If you are dealing with worsening anxiety or UTI you shouldn't have to wait weeks for an appointment. I provide virtual walk-in hours on weekends for acute issues and evening and night appointments from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and same-day or next-day openings to handle urgent concerns the moment they happen. Whether you need immediate stabilizing care for an acute ear infection or ongoing support for ADHD, severe anxiety, depression, trauma, and postpartum struggles, we will tackle it together.

You can see me in person at my Trafford office, or we can connect online through secure telehealth anywhere in Pennsylvania or Delaware. If we decide medication is the right tool, it will always be a collaborative conversation, not an order. We will trial options carefully, adjusting things based on how you actually feel, while pairing it with lifestyle shifts and real emotional support.

What you can expect from me

When you walk into your first session at Advanced Psychiatric Solution here in the Trafford community, you’ll quickly notice this isn't like the rushed, sterile medical appointments you’re probably used to. Whether you choose to meet at my Trafford office or connect through secure telehealth in Pennsylvania, my first priority is to slow things down, listen, and hold your story in the highest regard. There are no stopwatches running or rigid checklists to clear.

As a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I look at your mind and body together. We will map out your current struggles—whether that’s ADHD, severe anxiety, depression, trauma, or postpartum challenges—while looking at how your physical health and medical background tie into it all. My extensive experience with oncological history and cancer care means I understand how deeply chronic illness and severe medical trauma impact your emotional reserves.

Right from this first meeting, we also weave in personalized psychotherapy to help you find immediate footing. Depending on what feels right, we might use solution-focused therapy to tackle a specific hurdle, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to untangle heavy thought patterns, or motivational interviewing to help you process mixed feelings about change.

If medication management makes sense alongside therapy, it will always be a collaborative choice, never an order. I’ll explain how different options interact with your unique biology and medical history so we can make an informed decision together.
