Great to meet you!

Dr. Reuben, a renown clinical and liberation psychologist, uses an integrative therapeutic style (i.e. "whatever is most helpful") to treat anxiety, depression, and trauma. His typical clients are high performers (leaders, executives, and athletes) and people from marginalized groups (womyn, Black people/POC, etc.).

My approach to therapy

In my style of therapy, I empower my clients to discover that they are the experts of their lives (even though it may not feel like it yet!) and that I will serve as a guide to help them move closer to their mental health and wellness goals. Given my background as a former athlete, executive coach, and change-maker, I favor working with these populations; however, I enjoy helping all people courageous to attempt to change themselves.

What you can expect from me

My core values include respect, communication, and authenticity. I model these values in therapy. I come to therapy as whole human to assure that my clients can have an interactive humyn experience versus "working with a robot" as my former clients who have left other mental health providers suggest. Most importantly, I see us humyns as complex, multi-dimensional beings, which helps me lead with the curiosity needed to practice deep empathy and compassion with my clients.
