Great to meet you!

In addition to traditional talk therapy, I specialize in using creative art modalities throughout treatment: creative writing, movement, art making, theatre, and music. I received my masters at Pratt Institute in dance/movement therapy, my undergraduate degree at Purchase College in psychology, and studied theatre at the Baltimore School for the Arts.

Outside of the office, I have 20+ year of experience as a performer, using the arts to spread joy throughout the world.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is (1) solution-focused with a (2) psychodynamic lens and a (3) multimodality approach.

1- I believe everything you need is already inside of you, and I am here as a guide.

2- I believe the past does have an affect on our present, and I help you to heal from your past traumas and conflicts.

3- I use the arts, art making, and art interventions to complement and assist in the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from our first session

You will walk away with a clearer sense of what is keeping you from being the best version of yourself, who you want to be come, and how I can best assist you in reaching your wellness goals. You deserve a life of joy, prosperity, and wellness. I believe in the power within you to overcome your struggles. The healing begins with ourselves. From there, we can heal our family, our community, our nation, and then the world.
