Reva McMillan Ford

Hello, I am Reva McMillan Ford and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas, Idaho and Florida. I have worked in mental health since 2012 post completion of my Masters Degree in Social Work from Grambling State University. I gained my Bachelors Degree in Social Work from University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2009. I've worked in many different clinical settings including but not limited to inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment as a therapist.

My therapeutic approach includes person centered and solution focused treatment. I specialize in addressing stress management and crisis intervention through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Coaching and Motivational Interviewing. My goal is to assist individuals in pursuing identified stressors in a safe and supportive space, to work side by side while working through barriers. My experience includes working with clients from diverse backgrounds and across lifespan (18 to 85). My ideal population are adjustment issues/ life transition issues, stress management, depression, anxiety, individuals of color and LGBTQIA+. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with an understanding of interpersonal and familial relationships. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a difference in their life.
