Great to meet you!

Hi, do you struggle to relate to yourself and others? I am a trauma therapist specializing in loneliness, anxiety, and depression related to past trauma.

After working for years with folks who feel hopeless about their future happiness, I have come to realize that healing and wellness are usually more within our reach than we think. If you witnessed violence in the past, or feel misunderstood as a child and have a complicated relationship with your culture and family that prevents you from being who you are, we can find ease and wellness together.

It takes courage to challenge our traumas and become the person who relates in healthier ways. I am here to support you on that journey. Together, we will grieve what is lost and rebuild who you are.

My approach to therapy

Specializing in early trauma, relational wounds, narcissistic abuse, domestic violence, and loneliness, a lot of our mental health distress and challenges are more than about “thinking correctly”.

We need to take into consideration our entire person, including our feelings and our life circumstances. If you have been frustrated about being suggested that a few tricks and tips are your solutions to happiness, we can dive deeper and address core problems together.

You will learn to strengthen emotional resilience and adapt healthy ways to relate to yourself and others using somatic and relational approaches. I draw from the works of Peter Levine, Stan Tatkins, and others.

What you can expect from me

The most important first thing about therapy is to understand your needs and aspirations. To serve the goal of building wellness and addressing trauma, you may expect me to ask questions to know what to prioritize in our time together. I believe that your time is valuable, and it is important for me to respect that.
