Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals across the lifespan. I specialize in treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and stress-related concerns through a combination of medication management and supportive psychotherapy.

My approach is holistic, collaborative, and patient-centered. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and respected. Together, we will explore your concerns, identify treatment goals, and develop a personalized plan that aligns with your needs and lifestyle.

I incorporate evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral techniques, supportive therapy, and psychoeducation to help clients build coping skills and improve overall well-being. Whether you are starting treatment for the first time or continuing your mental health journey, I strive to provide care that is thoughtful, empowering, and results-oriented.

I offer convenient telehealth services, making it easier to access care from the comfort of your home. My goal is to support you in achieving stability, balance, and improved quality of life.

I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and am committed to culturally sensitive care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is holistic, client-centered, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. I believe that effective care starts with building a strong, trusting relationship where you feel safe, respected, and heard.

I use an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral techniques, solution-focused strategies, and mindfulness when appropriate. This allows me to adapt our work to what is most helpful for you, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

I focus on helping you understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also developing practical skills you can use in your daily life. At the same time, I recognize the importance of your personal experiences, culture, and values in shaping your journey.

Throughout our work together, I encourage open communication and regular check-ins to ensure that our approach is working for you. My goal is to support you in gaining insight, building resilience, and making meaningful, lasting changes at a pace that feels comfortable and achievable.

What you can expect from me

My clients should expect a welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free environment in all their sessions. During the first session, the main focus is getting to know you—your background, what brings you in, and what you hope to gain from the process.

We’ll typically talk about:

  • Your current concerns or challenges
  • Relevant personal, family, or work history
  • Any past experiences with counseling or support
  • Your goals and what you’d like to change or improve

I’ll also explain how I work, including confidentiality, session structure, and what you can expect moving forward. There will be time for you to ask questions so you feel comfortable and informed.

The first session is not about pressure or having all the answers—it’s about building trust and starting at your pace. By the end, we’ll usually have a clearer idea of next steps and how we can work together effectively.
