Great to meet you!

My journey to become a therapist began when I navigated my own challenging life experiences. I helped myself heal by assisting others and through the help of others. I have always had a natural ability to connect with people and genuinely enjoy hearing their stories. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating a wide range of challenges, including behavioral concerns, academic difficulties, bullying, peer pressure, substance use, parenting issues, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, life transitions, complex trauma, and attachment-related concerns. My approach is compassionate, supportive, and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences and needs.

I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to work toward meaningful change. I am also bilingual and fluent in Spanish, which allows me to provide culturally responsive care and support clients and families in the language they feel most comfortable using.

My approach to therapy

My approach is humanistic, client-centered, and strength-based. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where you can openly voice your needs, experiences, barriers, and trauma without fear of judgment. Together, we identify therapeutic goals that feel meaningful and empowering, with the intention of helping you build on your strengths and maximize your potential.

I offer a quiet, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable being yourself while engaging in meaningful and reflective work. I’m compassionate and good-humored, and I believe therapy can be both supportive and approachable. I encourage clients to actively participate in shaping their treatment goals and empower them to share only what feels comfortable at each stage of the process. My goal is for therapy to move at your pace while focusing on what matters most to you.

What you can expect from me

You are always welcome to ask questions about my professional experience as a way to build rapport and feel more comfortable in the therapeutic process. I believe trust is an important foundation for meaningful therapy, and I want you to feel confident that this is a space where you can be open, supported, and understood.

My goal is to work collaboratively with you to build a sense of safety and connection so you can feel comfortable being vulnerable and beginning your healing journey at your own pace.
