Great to meet you!

Before I became a therapist, I spent years on the front lines of child welfare, protective services, and crisis work in both Florida and Colorado. That meant investigating abuse cases, working in emergency shelters, supporting families through the court system, and eventually running substance abuse groups and individual therapy in a jail setting. All of that shaped how I understand trauma. I watched what happens when the wounds go unaddressed for years, and I saw just as clearly what becomes possible when someone finally gets a real chance to work through them. Private practice is where I get to do that work the way it deserves to be done.

My approach to therapy

I work in a direct way. I am not going to sugarcoat things, but I am also not going to push you somewhere you are not ready to go. My approach draws from Internal Family Systems, attachment-based work, and trauma-focused methods, and I adapt based on what actually fits the person in front of me. What stays consistent is this: I believe you have more capacity for healing than you probably give yourself credit for, and my job is to help you access it. We will move at a pace that makes sense, and we will do the actual work together.

What you can expect from me

I primarily work with adults navigating trauma, sexual abuse, and sex or pornography addiction. These are areas that carry a lot of shame, and I take them seriously without making clients feel judged for bringing them in. I also work with depression, anxiety, and life transitions. Sessions are available in person at my Colorado Springs office or through telehealth across Colorado.
