Great to meet you!

Taking this step in pursuing therapy to honor yourself and your journey of personal growth is to be commended! You are the expert of your own lived experience and together we will create a personalized and transformative plan to place you on the path toward increased self-awareness, self-compassion, and change. Using trauma-informed therapy, I specialize in providing individual/group counseling to survivors of GBV. I also have experience working with at-risk adolescent and the LGBTQ population.

My approach to therapy

I integrate creative therapies such as music alongside approaches focusing on mindfulness, defining and reinforcing your values, forgiveness, acceptance, and living in the present moment. I utilize an intersectional approach, acknowledging the complex systems within this world that can often compound experiences of discrimination in multiple realms. As a first-generation immigrant and a woman of color, I am particularly interested in empowering individuals of diverse and oppressed populations.

What you can expect from me

As a licensed clinical Mental Health Counselor I recognize that the process of entering therapy can be overwhelming so I strive to create a warm and peaceful environment. Whether meeting with me individually or as part of a couple, I listen thoughtfully, and we will work at a pace with which the client is most comfortable. I specialize in solution-focused therapy. My work with clients centers on moving beyond their habitual reactions to identify their true selves.
