Great to meet you!

Hi, I am Dr. Rhenda Hodnett. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I worked on behalf of children and families for more than 30 years. I retired from full-time practice in 2022 and now focus exclusively on helping people adjust to a variety of transitions common in midlife and beyond. One of my areas of specialty is the treatment of insomnia for people who want to improve their sleep without medication.

My approach to therapy

My approach is to assess challenges and build on your strengths. I am certified in various models of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, including Trauma-Focused CBT and CBT for Insomnia. We will work together to create and implement a plan of incremental steps toward lasting change in your life. My goal is to empower you with the skills to thrive, not just survive.

What you can expect from me

As a telehealth provider, I am very focused on ensuring that the process is simple, communication is clear, and my clients feel comfortable talking with me. I listen intently in order to help you discover the best path forward.
