Dr. Rhonda C. Boyd is a highly experienced clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of expertise in academic medicine, outpatient behavioral health, and evidence-based care for adolescents and adults. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and suicide risk, and is known for her thoughtful, collaborative, and research-informed approach to therapy.
Dr. Boyd served as a psychologist in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for over two decades, where she conducted diagnostic evaluations, provided individual and group therapy, and developed comprehensive treatment plans for patients with a wide range of psychiatric concerns. She co-developed the Child and Adolescent Mood Program (CHAMP), a specialized clinic focused on mood disorders, and has deep experience supporting youth and families through complex emotional challenges.
