Great to meet you!

Clients working with me can expect a therapeutic experience rooted in restorative care, cultural authenticity, and deep respect for their lived story. At Cultivating A Better Me, healing is not defined solely by symptom reduction—it is a process of rebuilding inner safety, strengthening emotional resilience, and reconnecting with the parts of yourself that deserve to be seen, honored, and supported.

My clinical foundation began at Sacramento Head Start, where I learned the profound impact of compassion, early intervention, and family‐centered support. With advanced training in Early Childhood Development and Counseling Psychology, I bring specialized expertise in disruptive behaviors, trauma‐responsive care, and expressive‐arts‐based healing.

Within my practice, clients are invited into a space where they can slow down, breathe, and explore their experiences without judgment. I integrate evidence‐based practices with creativity, narrative work, and culturally grounded approaches that honor identity, community, and personal agency.

Most importantly, clients should know that I show up with presence, authenticity, and a deep commitment to helping them cultivate meaningful, sustainable change. Healing is a collaborative journey—and I walk alongside you with compassion, clarity, and support.

My approach to therapy

At Cultivating A Better Me, my therapeutic approach is rooted in restorative care—a healing philosophy that centers on rebuilding inner safety, strengthening emotional resilience, and empowering clients to reclaim their personal narrative. I believe therapy is a sacred space where individuals can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that have been overlooked, overwhelmed, or silenced.

I integrate evidence‐based treatment, expressive arts, and culturally responsive practices to create a therapeutic experience that is both clinically grounded and deeply human. My work honors identity, lived experience, and the unique emotional landscape each client brings into the room. Whether supporting children, teenagers, or adults, I tailor every session to meet the client’s pace, needs, and goals.

My approach is collaborative and intentional. Clients bring their wisdom; I bring structure, guidance, and a restorative lens that helps illuminate strengths, clarify patterns, and open pathways for meaningful transformation. Together, we cultivate growth that is sustainable, compassionate, and aligned with the client’s authentic self.

Above all, my commitment is to provide therapy that feels safe, empowering, and deeply supportive—an environment where healing is not rushed, resilience is nurtured, and each person is invited to cultivate a better, stronger version of themselves.

What you can expect from me

At Cultivating A Better Me, the therapeutic experience is intentionally designed to feel nurturing, secure, and deeply empathetic. Clients are welcomed into a restorative space where they can safely explore the thoughts and emotions that shape their daily lives—especially the ones that quietly limit joy, connection, and personal fulfillment.

Central to this work is the practice of self‐love and self‐understanding, foundational elements of restorative care. These practices help soften the weight of guilt and shame, allowing clients to reconnect with their inherent worth and begin the healing process with clarity and compassion. When individuals learn to honor their own stories, they create the conditions for emotional repair, resilience, and meaningful transformation.

This branded approach reflects the heart of the practice: healing that is intentional, culturally grounded, and rooted in the belief that every person deserves to cultivate a stronger, more empowered version of themselves.
