Great to meet you!

You've been carrying this long enough — the anxiety that won't quiet down, the depression that makes even small things feel heavy, the life change that hit harder than you expected. For over 30 years, I've worked with individuals, couples, and families navigating exactly these moments. I have a particular passion for supporting Military and Veteran families, who often carry weight that civilians can't fully see. Whether you're in Ohio or Georgia, I offer telehealth sessions and I'm currently accepting new clients.

My approach to therapy

I don't come in with a script. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, and I pull from a range of evidence-based methods — including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and culturally responsive practices — depending on what fits you best. My favorite way to describe it: "I've got a lot of tools in my toolbox. If one doesn't work, we'll try another. I know I have something that's helped someone before, and it can help you too." The goal isn't for you to need me forever. It's for you to leave with real skills you can use in real life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation, not an evaluation. We'll talk about what's been going on, what you're hoping to change, and what's already working for you. I won't give you homework on day one — I'll give you a space to be honest without judgment. Many people leave that first session feeling lighter than they expected. We'll build from there, at a pace that works for you.
