Great to meet you!

I want you to know that I understand the courage it takes to reach out because I have been where you are. I have walked through dark seasons of trauma, grief, and anxiety; I, too, have sat on the therapy sofa, sharing my deepest hurts with a stranger. Because I’ve done the hard work of healing myself, I approach our sessions with deep empathy for the fear and effort involved in genuine change.

Outside of my practice, my life is full and blessed. My husband and I share a blended family of eight adult children and eleven grandchildren. Between them, our three fur babies, and friends who fill my cup to overflowing, I stay grounded in the same values of connection and family that I bring to my work. With over 25 years of experience as a therapist, I am licensed in Texas and dedicated to helping women, teens, and children find their way back to peace, strength and courage.

My approach to therapy

My goal isn’t just to "treat symptoms," but to truly understand you so we can build a path forward that feels like coming home to yourself. I specialize in relationship trauma, anxiety, and depression, drawing from over 26 years of experience to help you find relief as quickly as possible.

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to look at the "stories" your mind tells you that fuel your pain. While I hold deep Christian values, I honor that faith is a personal journey; I provide a safe, non-judgmental space that respects your individual choices. I view our work as a partnership—a "rhythm of healing" where we collaborate to turn your challenges into a steady, sustained transformation.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll simply sit together and talk about what is weighing on your heart. You can expect a warm, safe place to land where you don't have to perform or hide. We will gently explore your story and identify the "past hurts, current pain, and future fears" that are keeping you stuck.

From the very start, we will work together to create a plan that fits your life. Most of my clients begin to feel a sense of relief and a lifting of the fog within the first month. You can expect a session that feels like a conversation, built on trust and warmth, all from the comfort of your own home via secure evening video sessions.
