Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Rhonda and congratulations on taking a step towards you! I'm a Board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who had previously worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have 4 years of outpatient psychiatric experience and I received my education at Nova Southeastern University (MSN) and University of Detroit Mercy (BSN). I specialize in Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, ADHD, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and Substance Abuse.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to care is to meet you where you are. Ideally, you are ready for a holistic approach that focuses on supplements, therapy, TMS, and regular exercise. Yet, not everyone has the time and dedication to do just that -- that's where medication(s) can assist. In-office appointments are available (in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Wednesday's) or via Telemedicine - whichever is more suited for you!

What you can expect from our first session

The goal of treatment I like to share with patients is that of participation -- joint goals. Yet, the best outcome for you will be when you are willing to make changes. Meaning, you are ready to adopt the planning, do the plan, check back in on the plan, and if there are gaps -- that you act on the "tweaking". It is a process -- and it important to not let medication be the only answer.
