Great to meet you!

I live and work in Colorado as a professional psychotherapist. You must live in Colorado to receive therapy services from any Colorado licensed therapist. I have 30+ years of providing therapy support in health settings and in private practice. I am in a long-term primary relationship with my partner, Diane. When I am not working, I enjoy yoga, stand-up paddle boarding, birding, hiking, gardening, music, and watching movies.

My approach to therapy

We clarify your Core values, your meaning-making beliefs, and explore your preferred actions that are more closely congruent with your values. For better stress and anxiety management in relationship to self and others, we may explore more realistic compassion practices, and body-mind integrated practices. We aim for your increased skill, confidence, improved emotion regulation, and your increased satisfying loving exchanges. My approaches include ACT, Systems, CBT, and more.

What you can expect from me

I intentionally aim to help you build a real felt sense of respect, safety, and comfort. You will learn how to identify barriers and support needs, and to more effectively recruit new routes to your wanted steps of change. We will move at the pace which you prefer or request. You will most likely find your laughter, ease, and sense of confidence increasing, as you create steps of practice toward what you really want in your relationships. You will know your most preferred, workable tools soon.
