Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Rhonda Moore, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of healthcare experience. My background in primary care, assisted living, home health assessments, and mental health allows me to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that addresses both emotional and physical well-being.

I believe mental health is an essential part of overall health, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel heard and respected. Together, we'll work to understand your concerns, identify your strengths, and develop a personalized treatment plan that fits your goals and lifestyle.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, stress and burnout, women's mental health concerns, and substance use disorders. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing support for adults and older adults. My goal is to help you gain the tools and confidence to improve your mental health and overall quality of life.

Whether you're seeking help for the first time or looking for a provider who takes a whole-person approach, I'm here to partner with you on your journey toward healing, balance, and lasting wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe the best outcomes happen when patients feel comfortable, heard, and actively involved in their treatment decisions. Every person has a unique story, so I take the time to understand your experiences, concerns, strengths, and goals before developing a personalized treatment plan.

I use a whole-person approach that considers the connection between mental, physical, and emotional health. Treatment may include medication management, education, lifestyle recommendations, and coordination with therapists or other healthcare providers when appropriate. My goal is not simply to reduce symptoms but to help you build resilience, improve daily functioning, and achieve lasting wellness.

I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly and honestly. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, or other mental health challenges, I am committed to partnering with you every step of the way with empathy, respect, and clinical expertise.

What you can expect from me

During your first appointment, we'll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to treatment. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, medical and mental health history, medications, lifestyle, and the goals you hope to achieve. This is also your opportunity to ask questions and share anything you feel is important.

My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel heard and understood. Together, we'll review your symptoms, discuss any diagnoses if appropriate, and develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your needs and preferences. If medication is recommended, we'll talk through the benefits, potential side effects, and available options so you can make informed decisions about your care.

By the end of the session, you'll have a clearer understanding of your treatment plan, the next steps, and what to expect moving forward. My goal is for you to leave feeling supported, informed, and hopeful about your path toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
