Great to meet you!

If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by past experiences, or struggling to navigate a major life transition, you don't have to face it alone. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, and the emotional challenges that come with life's changes. I also have experience supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals navigating chronic medical conditions, end-of-life concerns, grief and loss, and military-related experiences. As a Black woman, I value creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and respected for your unique experiences and identity. Together, we'll work to better understand what's contributing to your current struggles, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build the tools and confidence needed to move toward a more fulfilling, balanced life.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, empowering, and tailored to your individual needs. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Strengths-Based interventions to help you make meaningful progress. Together, we'll identify practical strategies for managing anxiety, processing trauma, improving communication, navigating relationship challenges, strengthening emotional resilience, and developing healthier coping skills. Whether you're working through PTSD, depression, stress, grief, identity exploration, family conflict, or major life transitions, our sessions will balance insight with actionable tools that support lasting change both inside and outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a welcoming, solution-oriented, and supportive environment where your goals guide our work together. I strive to create a space where you feel safe exploring difficult emotions while also building practical skills to move forward with confidence. Throughout therapy, we'll celebrate progress, work through challenges with compassion, and focus on helping you feel more empowered in your relationships, more resilient during life's transitions, and better equipped to manage stress, anxiety, and the effects of trauma. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling understood, supported, and one step closer to the life you want to create.
