Great to meet you!

I'm Rhonda Turpin, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas. I work with clients across the lifespan — from infants and toddlers all the way through adulthood and into the senior years. My practice focuses on anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and adjustment challenges, and I also support individuals and families navigating grief and loss, stress, chronic health conditions, and family difficulties. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions to meet you where you are.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on your needs and goals, I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Trauma-Focused CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy. I tailor my approach to each person and family I work with, blending techniques that are most likely to support meaningful progress for you specifically.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what's bringing you in, what's been feeling hard, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. There's no pressure to have it all figured out — I'll help guide the conversation. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard and with a clearer sense of what working together might look like.
