Great to meet you!

I believe people do the best they can with the tools they have, and therapy is a space where you can be honest without fear of being labeled or shamed. My role is to help recognize your strengths, build practical skills, and gain confidence in your ability to create meaningful change at your pace. I believe growth happens when insight meets skills, support, and compassion, I will walk alongside you through that process.

My approach to therapy

I integrate approaches like DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care to help you manage emotions, navigate stress, and making choices that align with your goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and making sure you feel comfortable and respected. This is a space where you can share as much or as little as you’re ready to share there’s no pressure to tell your whole story right away.

We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to change, and what’s been challenging for you lately. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and current stressors, but this is a conversation, not an interrogation. I’ll also explain how therapy works, including confidentiality, boundaries, and what you can expect from me as your therapist. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and discuss approaches that may be helpful, such as practical coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, or mindfulness techniques, depending on your needs.

Most importantly, the first session is about building trust. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and clearer about next steps even if everything doesn’t feel “figured out” yet.
