Great to meet you!

I’m Ri’Coby Jefferson, and if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to make a change—you’ve come to the right space. I’ve spent over six years working alongside clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, identity-related issues (including within the LGBTQ+ community), and substance use. I genuinely believe in the human experience—its complexities, its strength, and the possibility of transformation when we lean into our stories together.

My approach to therapy

Think of therapy with me as a team-effort. I’ll meet you where you are—with empathy and structure—and we’ll build something that fits you. We’ll draw on the strengths you already have, uncover patterns that might be holding you back, and develop real-life tools you can use. Whether you’re navigating big life shifts, trauma, identity questions, or addiction recovery, this is a safe, affirming space to explore your story and create meaningful forward momentum. Clients describe me as empowering, solution-oriented, and holistic.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and your unique story. We’ll focus on what brought you in, where you’re hoping to go, and what matters most to you. From there, we’ll begin shaping an action-plan—tailored to your goals—for building tools to navigate your present and future with more confidence, clarity, and hope.

Ideal clients & what you’ll walk away with:

I enjoy working with teens, adults, and folks navigating transitions, identity shifts, trauma healing, and addiction or substance-use recovery. If you’re seeking a therapist who values your story, affirms your identity, and believes that you already carry strength—then we’re a good match. By working together, you can expect to leave sessions with greater self-awareness, clearer next steps, and a growing sense of agency in your life.

Feel free to schedule some time with me to connect if this style resonates—and we’ll see how we can walk this path together.
