Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Ricardo Aleman, a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma-informed psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, and families. I believe that healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and affirmed—and it’s incredibly courageous to take that first step toward support. I’m here to honor that courage and walk with you through the process.

For over a decade, I’ve worked with diverse communities, with a focus on LGBTQ+ and BIPOC clients navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, and identity-related challenges. My approach is rooted in cultural humility and clinical precision, drawing from evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, MI, and CPT to guide your therapeutic journey.

My approach to therapy

No two stories are the same. I tailor care to meet your unique needs, values, and goals. Together, we’ll co-create a space that prioritizes emotional safety, authenticity, and growth. I’ll show up with compassion, structure, and real talk, whether we’re unpacking the past, building new coping tools, or redefining what healing looks like for you.

What you can expect from me

Our first meeting is a chance for us to get to know each other. You’ll have the opportunity to share your story and your hopes for therapy, while I offer a transparent view of how we’ll work together. My goal is to create a space that feels both grounded and welcoming, where vulnerability is met with respect and trust. From there, we’ll design a plan that supports your goals and fosters meaningful change.
