Great to meet you!

I’m a bicultural and bilingual clinical social worker who approaches therapy with warmth, empathy, and genuine care. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community with experience navigating life transitions, I bring personal insight and cultural sensitivity to my work. My background in mental health and medical settings and trauma-focused programs allows me to support a wide range of needs. I strive to create a safe, affirming space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as we work together toward meaningful change. I know how transformative therapy can be!

My approach to therapy

I like to move at your pace, honoring your choices, while exploring what feels most significant in your life from the moment we meet. I’m naturally curious—not only about what brings you to therapy, but also about the approaches that can best support your goals. Whether through cognitive restructuring, strengths-based work, reprocessing painful memories, or creating empowering narratives of self, my aim is to walk with you through places of wounding and provide tools and a supportive space to help you feel more whole in the present.

What you can expect from me

I’ve learned throughout life that finding the right therapist is a lot like dating: if it’s a good match, we’ll work really well together! From our first session, I’ll be myself—warm, curious, a little dorky, and focused on your comfort. Our first meeting is about getting to know each other, exploring what therapy means for you, sharing the values that guide your life, and answering any questions you have about my experience and approach. I believe the connection between a client and their therapist is what makes all the difference, and I’m here to help make that connection happen.
