Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy is often the hardest part, but it is also a profound act of self-commitment. Many clients wonder if therapy will truly help them, and while the journey is different for everyone, what remains constant is the transformative power of feeling heard, understood, and supported. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution; rather, it is a deeply personal and collaborative process. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, or relationship challenges, therapy can offer you the tools and insights needed to navigate life with greater clarity and resilience. I welcome clients of all backgrounds, identities, and life experiences, ensuring that our work together is always tailored to your unique needs.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe that therapy should be flexible, responsive, and deeply attuned to each client’s needs. No two people experience life in the same way, which is why I integrate multiple therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic practices, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. Each of these approaches offers different pathways to healing, and together, we will discover which methods best support your goals. My practice extends to individuals, couples, and adolescents, with a particular focus on issues such as trauma, grief, body image concerns, and the impact of narcissistic abuse. Above all, I hold a deep belief in every person’s capacity for growth and change, and I approach therapy with warmth, empathy, and a commitment to your well-being.

What you can expect from our first session

Sessions with me are designed to be collaborative, affirming, and empowering. From our very first meeting, I prioritize creating a space where you feel safe to be yourself. Our initial sessions will focus on understanding your concerns, identifying your goals, and exploring what approaches feel most effective for you. As we continue working together, therapy may involve processing past experiences, building new coping strategies, and fostering deeper self-awareness. I work at your pace, ensuring that you never feel pressured but always feel supported. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and welcomes clients of all genders, sexual orientations, body sizes, and cultural backgrounds. I also affirm polyamorous, kink, and non-traditional relationship structures. No matter where you are in your healing journey, my commitment is to help you move forward with insight, self-compassion, and the confidence to create meaningful change in your life.
