Great to meet you!

I have been working with families since 2001. My passion is working with individuals and their families to assess their needs and to seek solutions that enhance their lives. I have been focused throughout my social work career on clinical issues, advocacy needs and recovery potential. I am deeply committed to participating in the development and execution of evidence-based interventions that will enable persons with mental health issues to manage their own lives and pursue their own goals.

My approach to therapy

At the core of my treatment philosophy is the belief that individuals and families heal when movement occurs and people step away from comfort to unlock their potential for growth. Often there is underlying pain or trauma that needs to be addressed for the system to recover and break the cycle where they are stuck. Whether the results of the family dysfunction is abuse, addiction, estrangement, divorce, suicide, broken communication paths, or some other behavior, treatment can provide relief.

What you can expect from me

My approach is to assess and actively work with you to develop goals and coping strategies that you can utilize and practice to build effective, everyday tools to enhance your lives.
