Great to meet you!

You’re more than what you feel—you're a thinker, a creator, a complex human deserving of purpose and connection. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, life transitions, or searching for meaning, I’ll walk with you. In a safe, non-judgmental space, you’ll explore what matters, unearth insights, and build the life you want—one aligned with your values and inner strength.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I’m Richard Guiga, an NYC‐based Licensed Mental Health Counselor offering online sessions. I blend relational, insight-oriented, and strength-based approaches to help you feel seen, heard, and equipped to make lasting change in a supportive, client-led environment.

What you can expect from our first session

I employ a variety of therapeutic modalities to facilitate growth. CBT helps us to challenge and change unhelpful thought patterns, psychodynamic therapy delves into the past to understand present behaviors, person-centered therapy focuses on strengths and self-worth, and motivational interviewing encourages you to discover motivation for change.

Ready to explore who you are and what you need? Book a free 15-minute call now to see if we’re a good fit. I accept Aetna, BCBS, Oxford (United, Oxford, Oscar) and file claims for out-of-network, and offer a sliding scale. Let’s start your journey toward clarity and growth.
