Great to meet you!

Something changed, and you are ready to understand it. Whether anxiety keeps you on edge, depression dims the things you love, trauma has you stuck in patterns you cannot shake, or mood swings have made life feel unpredictable, you deserve care that actually makes sense for you. I am Richard, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a doctoral degree. I take a compassionate, collaborative approach to medication management, and I am here to help you find your direction forward.

My approach to therapy

Medication management works best when it goes alongside your own understanding of yourself. For patients who feel overwhelmed and lost, I offer a new perspective, a compass, to help map out the path to recovery. My focus is medication management alongside patient education, because informed patients get better results. My approach is compassionate and collaborative. You are the expert in your own experience, and my role is to listen, provide guidance, and help you find a direction forward that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

Starting care can feel like a big step, and your first appointment is simply a chance to get to know each other. We will talk through what has been going on in your life, the challenges you have been navigating, your mental health history, and what you are hoping to gain from treatment. I will listen closely and ask questions to make sure I understand your full picture. By the end, you should have a clearer sense of what treatment might look like for you.
