Great to meet you!

You might feel like your reactions are running the show lately, like the frustration or worry shows up faster than you can catch it. I work with teens, adults, and seniors who are trying to feel more like themselves again, whether that means getting a handle on anxiety, working through anger that keeps surprising them, or navigating depression, family tension, or the pressures that come with being a man who was never taught how to talk about any of this. I welcome clients of every sexual orientation and gender identity, and I want you to feel like you can bring your whole self into our sessions.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, we focus on untangling the thought patterns that keep you stuck in the same loops, so you can respond to stress instead of just reacting to it. I go deep with clients dealing with anxiety and anger that feels bigger than the moment that triggered it, helping you build tools you can actually use the next time things get hard. You will walk away from our sessions with a clearer sense of why you think and feel the way you do, and strategies that hold up under real pressure. I tend to work best with clients who are ready to look honestly at their patterns and willing to practice new ones between sessions.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really just a conversation. I want to understand what brought you here and what you are hoping feels different six months from now. There is no pressure to have it all figured out before you reach out. If any of this sounds like where you are right now, I would be glad to talk with you.
