Great to meet you!

I am a military veteran who has been working in the Helping Profession since 2015. I have worked at a long-term recovery house, most recently have been working with a public agency treating a variety of issues, and I am Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I enjoy meeting with people, getting to know them, and helping them to achieve their personal goals.

My approach to therapy

Success of therapy depends on a comfortable fit between the individual and the therapist. My approach is interactive, utilizing evidence-based psychology including cognitive behavioral therapy; it is solution focused, compassionate, person centered, interpersonal, and it utilizes a motivational interview approach. This therapeutic approach lends itself to building therapeutic trust.

What you can expect from me

I have worked with many types of clients and continue to accept many different types of referrals. I have a special interest in working with people who are dealing with trauma, PTSD, anger, ADD/ADHD, anxiety, panic disorder, depression, and substance use issues. I have good insight into veteran issues.
