Great to meet you!

My passion for mental health care is rooted in both lived experience and more than two decades of helping adolescents and adults navigate life's most difficult challenges. More than 25 years ago, I faced my own struggles with mental health and substance use, giving me firsthand insight into the courage it takes to seek help and the stigma that can stand in the way. That experience inspired a lifelong commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that fosters hope, healing, recovery, and lasting change. I have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, and substance use disorders, always tailoring care to each person's unique needs and goals. My greatest privilege is creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where every individual feels seen, heard, and empowered to build a healthier, more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is rooted in compassion, connection, and the belief that every person’s story deserves to be heard with respect and without judgment. I work collaboratively with clients to understand their unique experiences, strengths, and goals while developing individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices. Utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and other clinically supported interventions, I help clients build insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, substance use disorders, and life transitions across adolescence and adulthood. I strive to create a safe, supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered, understood, and equipped to move toward healing, resilience, and lasting wellness.

What you can expect from me

I work collaboratively with each client to establish personalized goals focused on reducing symptoms, improving emotional regulation, developing healthier coping strategies, strengthening relationships, increasing self-awareness, and enhancing overall quality of life. Using evidence-based practices I help clients identify patterns, overcome barriers, and build practical skills that support lasting wellness. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, all substance use disorders, and life transitions while providing a safe, judgment-free environment where clients feel empowered to build resilience, recovery, and personal growth.
