Great to meet you!

Richard Lautenbacher, PsyD is an experienced Clinical Psychologist in CA working primarily with an adult population including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. He has worked as a volunteer counseling caregiver and in leadership roles with his local church and community, and other life roles as a parent, successful real estate investor, and software consultant servicing clients in business, entertainment, and research, i.e., Princeton Univ., NASA, and Apple.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Lautenbacher focuses on compassionately building rapport and adapting to your unique needs and goals. His approach explores past experiences, current cognitions, and patterns of behavior with a focus on the client's unique needs. The therapeutic goal is to help gain insights and catharsis (“ah-ha” moments) with the client toward their psychological improvement and well-being.
