Great to meet you!

I am an experienced therapist, a Clinical Psychologist, with 30+ years of experience. I have degrees from The University of Texas at Austin and the University of Missouri. Problems with depression, anxiety and stress are common. I have worked with many individuals, couples and families and currently am accepting referrals of adults or adolescents, ages 18+. I am available for only telehealth appointments.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a collaborative process. You are the expert on you; but together we can work to build on your strengths and find ways to overcome challenges which are interfering with your ability to move forward toward the life you seek. I have a wide range of experience that will allow us to tailor an approach that works best for you and ranges from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to Trauma-Focused Therapy) to Family of Origin.

What you can expect from me

If you choose to allow me to help, you can expect to find a professional committed to helping you feel more empowered in your life. You may be experiencing a life circumstance which has led to painful emotions or you may have struggled with chronic mental illness. In either case, and with many in between, enhanced coping skills, greater resilience to life stresses and a renewed optimism about your life are the takeaways I seek for clients.
