Great to meet you!
My path into social work was shaped by my military service, where I developed a deep appreciation for resilience, service, and the unique challenges people face during times of adversity. Those formative experiences inspired my commitment to helping others, initially working with veterans, and ultimately led me to pursue a career in social work.
I earned both my Bachelors Degree and Master of Social Work (MSW) from Rutgers University. Over the past 11 years, I have worked in the social work field, including the last 8 years as a therapist specializing in crisis intervention and behavioral health.
Throughout my career, I have worked in inpatient psychiatric settings, with veterans, and in Early Intervention Support Services (EISS), helping adults navigate acute mental health crises. These experiences have prepared me to support clients through some of life's most difficult moments while fostering resilience, hope, and lasting change.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress, emotional dysregulation, and crisis-related concerns. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical, drawing from evidence-based strategies to help clients build effective coping skills, gain insight, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
I believe healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and authenticity. My role is not to tell you what to do or to "fix" you—it's to walk alongside you, challenge unhelpful patterns, and help you discover your own path forward. Growth often requires us to step outside our comfort zones, and I will encourage you to do so in a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment.
Whether you're facing a crisis or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to challenge, support, and empower you as you build a life that feels more balanced, purposeful, and aligned with your values.
