Richard-Michael Calzada

I would describe myself as warm, creative, and affirming. I am a somatic-based therapist trained in EMDR and Somatic Experiencing. In 2016, I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Texas. I have worked with a variety of individuals in hospital and outpatient settings. I see clients between the ages of 13 and 75 and am a LGBTQIQA+ ally.

My clinical interventions are somatic and emotion based, which can be helpful in alleviating anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and intrusive trauma responses.

You can expect me to be kind, curious, and collaborative in a creative sense. I bring my authentic self into the room and don't hide behind a clinical mask.
