Great to meet you!

My name is Dr. Scott, and I have been practicing over 22-years, much by telehealth now, as a clinical and health psychologist, and my highest degree earned is my Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology), accompanied by a D.C.H. (Doctor of Clinical Hypnosis), and Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)/Medical Scientist. I have also studied many other fields. I start with CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy) in treatment and integrate many empirically based treatment modalities in psychotherapy as it progresses.

My approach to therapy

I utilized empirically based treatments, like CBT, and I Only do the Initial Evaluation & Psychotherapy (No other tasks, including time off work, disability claims, ESA, Work Comp, etc.)

specialities include: The Biological Basis of Behavior, Trauma, Personal Training, Nutrition, EFT, TFT, MLT, Clinical Hypnosis, Ericksonian Hypnosis, BF, Naturopathy (CAM), Aromatherapy, basic Herbology, Psychospirituality, EMDR & Advanced, Reflexology, Trauma, Anxiety, Brainspotting, & Reiki, and more....

What you can expect from me

The initial session is the "Initial Evaluation" whereby a "Psychobiosocial Assessment" is done (which includes the history, diagnosis, treatment plan, prognosis, etc.), The first session is not a psychotherapy session. The second session starts into psychotherapy.

You can expect in-depth positive change, once the treatment deepens, and this change can be surprisingly rapid, deep, and clinically significant, depending on the patient. Other approaches can be slower and insightful.
