Great to meet you!

I'm Richard, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in northern New Jersey. I work with teenagers, adults, and seniors experiencing a variety of mental health issues, but I'm particularly passionate about serving clients with depression, bipolar disorder, and Schizophrenia. I also have advanced training in mood disorders and dementia comorbidity.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have special training in the combination of medication management with talk therapy, which uses motivational and cognitive behavior therapy to enhance the effectiveness of treatment. In my session, I focus on identifying psychological and physiological impediments to your mental health, and then determine possible treatment plans. I will work with you and your support system to come up with a plan that feels right for you!

What you can expect from our first session

My patients walk away feeling like they are part of their own care team and feel empowered to change their own mental wellbeing. They can clearly see the many options in front of them, and are excited for their future!
