Great to meet you!

My name is Rich Yeager, LPC, MS, and I founded Blue Lotus Counseling and Coaching with one belief in mind. Healing must be personal. I do not simply teach transformation. I have lived it. I have rebuilt myself, faced painful relationship challenges, confronted my own emotional patterns, and learned how to lead my life with clarity and purpose. That lived experience shapes the grounded, steady energy I bring into every session.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in corporate leadership, finance, corrections, and youth development, and I spent years traveling. Those experiences opened my eyes to people from every walk of life and every culture. I witnessed how differently we carry stress, trauma, identity, and love. Travel reshaped how I understand people. It taught me humility, empathy, and how to connect with clients exactly where they are.

I am also a family man, and connection and legacy guide everything I do. I understand the weight of trying to hold life together while managing relationships, parenthood, responsibility, and the quiet fear of losing yourself in the process.

Professionally, I specialize in couples therapy that rebuilds trust and communication, mind, body, spirit connection work, men’s work that strengthens purpose and leadership, trauma recovery, narcissistic abuse healing for those wounded by toxic partners or parents, and Life After Divorce and Separation support for individuals rebuilding their lives.

I bring both clinical skill and lived wisdom into every session. My approach is warm, direct, grounded, and fully human. You receive clarity, tools, emotional support, and a partner who walks beside you, not above you.

If you feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to rebuild your life or relationship, this is your turning point. Reach out and schedule a consultation. It would be an honor to help you rise again.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, transformational, and deeply grounded in the mind–body–spirit connection. Healing is not just about talking through the past; it’s about understanding the emotional patterns shaping your present, regulating your nervous system, and rebuilding the internal leadership needed to move your life forward.

I combine evidence-based therapy with practical coaching tools.

With couples, I teach a new language of communication, a mind–body–spirit-emotion framework that helps both partners understand not only what they’re saying, but how their nervous systems and emotional histories shape the conversation. This creates deeper emotional safety, trust, and connection.

With men, I specialize in helping them step into grounded masculine energy, learning to lead with confidence, emotional stability, purpose, and warmth. My work helps men reconnect to self, strengthen their identity, improve communication, and take ownership of their relationships and lives.

With individuals healing from trauma or narcissistic abuse, we work to break trauma bonds, rebuild identity, and regulate the internal chaos that comes from emotional harm and gaslighting. You will learn to trust yourself again.

My style is warm, direct, and highly collaborative. You will always know what we’re working on, why it matters, and how it supports your healing. This is therapy designed to create real change, not just weekly conversations that leave you spinning.

What you can expect from me

I create a calm, clear, grounded environment where you can share what you’ve been carrying without pressure, judgment, or the need to pretend everything is fine. Together, we explore what feels off, what you’re struggling with emotionally or relationally, and what you hope life could look like if the pain, confusion, or chaos were no longer in the way.

In your first session, you can expect:

  • A deeper understanding of your emotional patterns and triggers
  • Insight into how your nervous system is responding to stress or conflict
  • Connection between past experiences and present challenges
  • A clear vision for what healing, rebuilding, or reconnection will look like
  • Immediate tools or strategies you can start using right away

For couples, we begin identifying the relational patterns, communication breakdowns, and emotional injuries that keep you disconnected. You’ll begin learning a new way of speaking and listening, one rooted in emotional safety, intention, and connection.

For men, the first session helps clarify where your power leaks, emotional triggers, or leadership breakdowns are coming from. You’ll leave with a sense of direction and an understanding of how to step into the version of yourself you know you're capable of being.

For individuals healing from narcissistic relationships or trauma, we begin untangling the emotional imprints, confusion, and self-doubt that may have become their norm. The goal of the first session is to help you feel seen, grounded, and no longer alone.

You will walk out with a clear roadmap, a sense of relief, and the feeling that change is not only possible, but it’s already begun.
