Great to meet you!

Right now, life may feel hard. You’ve faced many challenges that seemed to come out of nowhere, and you’re doing your best to navigate through them.

You struggle to set healthy boundaries and often feel overwhelmed. Asking for help isn’t always easy. You might find yourself thinking, “What will people think? I can figure this out on my own.” It’s tough because you usually go at it alone, carrying the load and bearing the burden. But deep down, you know something isn’t quite right, and you could use some support. Does this sound familiar?

As someone who has been there before, I understand how tough it can be to take that first step to reach out. I have over eight years of experience helping individuals improve their mental health & quality of life. My passion is empowering women to improve their skills in setting boundaries as well as helping clients to manage & improve anxiety & depression.

The truth is, it takes strength & courage to say, “I need help.” And when you do, you'll find that you have the inner strengths & abilities to make meaningful change in your life. I would be happy to come alongside you to help you in your journey towards hope and healing.

I offer Telehealth sessions to clients anywhere in Ohio! If you’re ready to get started, please use the booking link to request your first appointment. After you book, I’ll reach out to schedule a free 10–15 minute phone consultation where we can talk through your goals, answer your questions, and make sure it feels like the right fit.

My approach to therapy

I have extensive experience treating various mental and emotional issues, including depression, anxiety, stress-related issues, anger, challenging life transitions (including college stressors), and relationship problems. My clinical experience also includes supporting individuals in diverse settings, such as women’s and youth shelters, which has strengthened my understanding of resilience and the importance of creating safe, supportive spaces for healing.

My passion is empowering women to improve their skills in setting boundaries, self-care, and assertive communication.

Empathy and respect are two essential elements of creating a teamwork-based therapeutic relationship. Therefore, it is my goal that for every client and every session those two elements are felt and experienced.

Choosing a counselor can be an intimidating and overwhelming process, which is why scheduling you for a free 10-15 minute consultation where you can ask any questions that you may have about the counseling process is something that I am happy to offer to prospective clients. Together we can work to bring lasting solutions with long-term impact.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together we will start with brief introductions and then I will answer any questions you may have about the counseling process. Next, I will ask questions to get to know more about your needs and goals for counseling and together we will create a customized plan that identifies your goals for the improvement of your mental health and overall well-being. Lastly, we will schedule our next follow-up session based on your availability and whether or not you would like to schedule weekly or bi-weekly sessions.
