Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy isn't always easy, and I'm glad you're here. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, relationship challenges, and perinatal mental health. While I have a special passion for supporting Black women and families through culturally responsive care, I welcome clients from all backgrounds. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as we work together toward healing, growth, and a life that feels more balanced and aligned with who you want to be.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a collaborative process where you feel both supported and challenged. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based, trauma-informed care. Together we'll explore the experiences and patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills, and develop strategies that fit your everyday life. I strive to create a space where you can show up authentically without judgment while feeling empowered to make meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about getting to know you. We'll discuss what's bringing you to therapy, explore your history, identify your goals, and talk about what you hope to gain from our work together. You don't need to have all the answers or know exactly where to start. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace while leaving with a clearer understanding of what our work together can look like.
