Great to meet you!

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to review my profile and see if we might be a good match! I am passionate about helping others and guiding them to be the best version of themselves utilizing and strengthening already possessed skills and traits, while developing new perspectives that become effective in achieving goals! My interest started from both personal and vicarious experiences and honestly, if it weren't for life taking me to an adolescent tutoring program while trying to find my way in teaching, I wouldn't be here today. My style varies in that I individualize my therapeutic approach based on the client's needs and personality. I apply interventions from a variety of therapeutic models, ensuring that each client's treatment is unique to their specific needs. Building a strong therapeutic rapport is incredibly important to me! I often use humor as a tool, as laughter really can be the best medicine sometimes, and am direct in my delivery. I have worked in all levels of care from private practice to inpatient treatment. I have worked and continue to work extensively with those experiencing anxiety, depression, stress management, parenting issues, women's issues, relationship issues, career issues, adjustment issues, and SUD issues. Outside of work, I enjoy strength and cardio training, reading crime thrillers, couch-rotting on a rainy day, and being a chauffeur to my two kids!

My approach to therapy

I approach each client with compassion and understanding. Every person is unique and an individualized treatment plan is tailored to that client's needs and goals. I approach sessions in a client-centered manner, making sure to meet the client where they are at while also encouraging to explore and challenge maladaptive thoughts and behaviors that have brought the client into seeking change. I approach each client in a "whole person" way, exploring each part of the client's life to ultimately achieve a balanced lifestyle.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a thorough assessment, exploring all aspects of their lives in order to help identify problem areas and create a treatment plan that is individualized and realistic. Clients can expect the tone of the session to be welcoming and understanding.
