Great to meet you!
As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my therapeutic work. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work with a clinical focus, and I’ve spent several years supporting individuals, couples, and families in nonprofit, community, and clinical settings.
I specialize in trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically responsive care—particularly for individuals navigating the complex impacts of forced migration, war, displacement, identity, and intergenerational trauma. I also support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, and life transitions.
Having grown up in a collective culture and as a survivor of trauma myself, I deeply value the power of connection, cultural understanding, and storytelling in the healing process. I strive to create a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where clients can show up authentically and feel seen and supported.
I work with adults, adolescents, and couples using approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and mind-body practices. I also integrate faith and spiritual themes when requested, and I’m fluent in English, Arabic, Assyrian, Chaldean, and Syriac.
My goal is to help clients build resilience, strengthen self-trust, and reconnect with hope, meaning, and belonging.
