Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my therapeutic work. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work with a clinical focus, and I’ve spent several years supporting individuals, couples, and families in nonprofit, community, and clinical settings.

I specialize in trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically responsive care—particularly for individuals navigating the complex impacts of forced migration, war, displacement, identity, and intergenerational trauma. I also support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, and life transitions.

Having grown up in a collective culture and as a survivor of trauma myself, I deeply value the power of connection, cultural understanding, and storytelling in the healing process. I strive to create a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where clients can show up authentically and feel seen and supported.

I work with adults, adolescents, and couples using approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and mind-body practices. I also integrate faith and spiritual themes when requested, and I’m fluent in English, Arabic, Assyrian, Chaldean, and Syriac.

My goal is to help clients build resilience, strengthen self-trust, and reconnect with hope, meaning, and belonging.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and relational. I believe that healing happens in safe, trusting relationships, and I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. I tailor my approach to each person’s unique story, drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, and somatic grounding techniques.

I also integrate spirituality and cultural values into the therapeutic process when it’s meaningful for the client, recognizing the importance of identity, faith, and community in the healing journey.

What you can expect from me

Clients who work with me can expect a collaborative, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where they can explore challenges, develop healthier patterns, and reconnect with their strengths. Together, we work to reduce symptoms of distress, improve relationships, and build self-awareness, resilience, and hope for the future.

Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, or relationship difficulties, my goal is to walk alongside you as a supportive guide—helping you move toward clarity, healing, and lasting growth.
