Great to meet you!

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northwestern State University. I also earned my Masters of Arts in Couple and Family Therapy at Adler University. I’ve worked in several therapeutic settings including residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and private practice. My areas of expertise include helping couples and families improve communication, recover from addiction and its impact on relationships, and enhance intimacy.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I’m an LMFT with a direct and warm therapeutic approach. I’m a Contextual Marriage and Family Therapist which means I view people and their complexities in a broader context of how they engage in their family, social, ethnic, cultural systems, and neurological wiring. My work is trauma-informed and utilizes mindfulness and strength-based approaches. I’m an affirming, culturally competent therapist who values social justice with experience working with LGBTQIA+ and diverse communities.

What you can expect from our first session

I work with clients to forge healthy relationships as well as to heal relational wounds. I venture beyond functioning and into fulfillment.
