Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Rikki. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with dual master's degrees and over eight years of experience working in community mental health, private practice, and forensic settings. I help adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, emotional dysregulation, anger management, sexual concerns, identity exploration, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and tailored to each person I work with. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, challenged when it's helpful, and supported as we work together to better understand what's getting in the way and build practical strategies that fit your life.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most effective when insight is paired with action. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be contributing to your current challenges while also identifying practical strategies you can use between sessions. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what's been going on in your life, and what you hope to get out of the process. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, but there's no pressure to share everything all at once. By the end of the session, we'll have a clearer understanding of your goals and begin developing a plan that feels right for you.
