Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Riley Henderson, and I am a licensed independent social worker in the state of Ohio. I have been a practicing social worker since 2023 after graduating with my master's degree in social work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I have a background in crisis management in southeast Ohio working with children and families through the court system, school system and more to create safety and stability together. I currently work as a therapist for those experiencing life's challenges no matter how big or small.

My approach to therapy

I am a flexible therapist that believes your sessions should revolve around your specific needs. I currently practice cognitive behavioral therapy with influences of mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy and utilizing dialectical behavioral therapy skills as well. Therapy is not one size fits all, what are your needs and let's come up with a treatment plan together!

What you can expect from me

In our first session I want to get to know you, we'll get paperwork out of the way as quickly as possible so we can dive right into what brings you to therapy. I'd love to know your history, your current problem and more about who you are and what you are looking for. I am also an open book, ask me anything!
