Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted for who you are. I’m a compassionate and down-to-earth therapist who works collaboratively with clients to better understand what they’re experiencing and develop practical tools to help them feel more confident and in control of their lives.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families across a variety of settings, including community mental health and school-based environments.

My clinical experience includes supporting clients with anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem, and difficulties navigating boundaries and communication.

I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already dealing with a lot. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where you can be yourself, work at a pace that feels comfortable, and feel like you have someone in your corner.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, individualized, and strengths-based. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand yourself, identify patterns that may be getting in your way, and develop skills that support the changes you want to make.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches and tailor treatment to each client’s needs, goals, and stage of life. Depending on what you’re experiencing, sessions may focus on understanding emotions and triggers, developing coping and communication skills, working through past experiences, strengthening boundaries, improving relationships, or navigating major life changes.

I also believe therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or overly clinical. I strive to create a genuine, conversational environment where we can celebrate progress, work through challenges, and find practical strategies that you can actually use outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re currently experiencing, and what you hope to get out of services. We’ll also discuss your history and any factors that may be important for me to understand so I can provide care that is individualized to you.

You won’t be expected to have everything figured out before starting therapy. If you’re not sure exactly what you need or where to begin, that’s okay. We can work together to identify meaningful goals and determine what approach will be most helpful.

Most importantly, I want you to leave your first session feeling heard, respected, and hopeful about the work we can do together.
