Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Rina Mattys, LMHC. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, ADHD, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can give you space to slow down, understand what’s happening, and find a path forward. I work with children, adolescents, and adults and bring more than five years of counseling experience and a multicultural perspective shaped by living in the U.S. for over 40 years.

My approach to therapy

I’m warm, curious, and solution-oriented, while always meeting you where you are. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely heard and can be open without fear of judgment. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, patterns, strengths, and goals while developing practical strategies that fit your life. My approach is personalized because your story is your own. Whether we’re working through anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, or relationship concerns, I want you to leave sessions with greater clarity, stronger coping skills, and a better understanding of yourself.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance to get comfortable, share what brings you to therapy, and begin identifying what you’d like to change. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we start. I’ll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and work with you to identify meaningful goals at a pace that feels right. Therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is for you to feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout it. Taking the first step can be difficult, but you don’t have to figure everything out alone.
