Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling and over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, families, and couples across a wide range of settings, including dual diagnosis programs, residential treatment centers, county behavioral health clinics, and law-enforcement–affiliated crisis response teams.

My work alongside multiple police departments, providing crisis intervention in high-stress and high-risk situations, has shaped my ability to remain grounded, compassionate, and effective even during life’s most overwhelming moments. I bring that same calm and steady presence into the therapy room.

My approach to therapy

I take a client-centered, humanistic, and strength-based approach to therapy, integrating interpersonal therapy (IPT) and trauma-informed care. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to your unique experiences.

Rather than focusing on what’s “wrong,” I help clients identify patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools that support emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and long-term growth. I value creating a space where clients feel safe, empowered, and understood — especially if they’ve felt unheard or misunderstood in the past.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. You’ll have space to share your concerns at your own pace. We will discuss your goals and what you hope to gain from treatment. We’ll also review how therapy works and create a plan for moving forward collaboratively. I welcome clients who are new to therapy as well as those returning after previous experiences.
