Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Rita. I’ve spent over two decades working with individuals and families across Florida, supporting people through challenges like trauma, abuse, stress, anxiety, and depression. I believe you are the expert of your own story, and my role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your strengths and find ways to move forward. Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage — and if you’re here, you should feel proud of yourself for getting started.

My approach to therapy

My style is pretty laid back, supportive, and compassionate. Clients describe me as caring, easy to talk to, and someone who creates a safe, nonjudgmental space. We’ll work together to build self-esteem and confidence, explore what’s been weighing on you, and develop coping skills that actually fit your life. I focus on meeting you where you are and helping you feel empowered as you work through challenges at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming conversation where you feel heard and respected. We’ll talk about what brought you in and what you’re hoping for, and begin identifying your strengths and goals together. Over time, many people find they feel more confident in themselves, better equipped to handle stress, and more hopeful about the direction their life is taking. You don’t have to have everything figured out — we’ll take it one step at a time.
