Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works primarily with adults through major life transitions, work and career stress, relational stress, Anxiety, trauma, and Depression. As a child of immigrant parents, I have a unique perspective when it comes to culture and race and pride myself on working cross-culturally. I practice from a place of curiosity, humility, and mutual respect.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I know that you can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending. My role as your therapist is to help you feel safe in sharing your story and learn the necessary tools to reach your full potential. I will help you find that pen so you can write your ending in a manner that serves you best.

What you can expect from our first session

We will work together on creating goals that matter to you and are realistic for us to accomplish together. I primarily utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps you identify, interrupt, and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. In between sessions, you will be asked to practice skills, write and reflect, and may have additional CBT worksheets. You will walk away with the skills that are needed to reach your goals, as well as a renewed sense of power and control over your own life.
