Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Rita, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I hold a master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

My approach to therapy

With over three decades of experience in the field, I have had the privilege of providing individual, couples, family, group, and substance abuse counseling.

I enjoy providing play therapy, and I have developed a specialization in women’s mental health care. Throughout my career, I’ve had the honor of assisting clients facing various challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, job stress, relationship issues, grief, codependency, and major life changes, including divorce.

I approach each client with a down-to-earth attitude, adapting to their unique needs and preferences. I use empathetic listening and a non-judgmental approach, creating a safe and nurturing space for clients to openly explore their emotions.

Having personally encountered life’s struggles, I understand the weight of the challenges that can befall us. My mission is to wholeheartedly support you on your journey towards healing and self-discovery.

If you seek guidance, understanding, and a caring professional to walk alongside you, I am here to offer the support you deserve. Together, we can navigate the hurdles and work towards a happier, more fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, I will gather information for the diagnostic assessment and answer any questions you may have about me or the therapy process.
